Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer

PRIDESTAFF is currently seeking an experienced Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer!! The primary responsibility of the Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer will be to work with Marketing & Sales force to evolve product specifications and associated design schedules and then lead the firmware/software development effort on a range of endpoint power management products.
Preferred Candidate will possess the following skills/
Experience:
Bachelors or Masters Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering 5
years experience in embedded C/C+
and assembly language programing Experience in Linux application, kernel and driver target development Experience with real time operating systems & requirements Firmware design and programming experience with 32-bit microprocessors (Microchip/Atmel SAMAS a plus), including a thorough understanding of embedded system architecture design and development as well as maintenance & test capabilities Ability to analyze hardware design documentation to determine appropriate user interface and driver solutions Excellent debugging skills in low level software and hardware Ability to work independently & effectively with little supervision Excellent communication skills PrideStaff is a staffing company that has been helping job seekers find meaningful and fulfilling work in their desired field since 1978.
